Well as it turns out first graders ALWAYS have germs. Since Colee has started her first year of
public school it seems that someone in the house is always sick at some point. And you wonder how many times can one kid get
everyone sick? Well as we are finding
out, a million times and in less than 4 months.
As of right now we have 3 sick, very crabby, but still energetic babies.
This is about my adventures living with my niece and nephews and trying to make my way through the rough life of college.

Crab Snack
Well after the goldfish incident, I just thought that I had everything cleaned up. Of course, I was wrong; there was another mess just waiting to be discovered. When I moved, I had the bright idea to bring my pet
hermit crab with me. Why was that a bad
idea? Because Mr. B loves to eat EVERYTING, but he especially loves to eat any kind of pet
food. So Mr. B decided that the best entertainment was to have a snack and make a huge mess at the same time right after I had vacuumed my
floor and cleaned everything. I guess, Mr. B just decided that the next delicacy on his list of things to eat was hermit crab food. He needed to have a little crab snack.

Cleaning the Disaster
Yesterday was operation: Clean the Disaster. So my sister and I had to tackle the scary
task that included: what was in that sippy cup and do you know what food that
is under the couch? That also meant
trying to put all the toys back into the play-room before a tiny could come by
and drag them all back out because the house always looks better, according to
Spiderman, when “my toy just goes right here” in the middle of the kitchen. Cleaning the hazmat zone or house as we
sometimes (rarely) call it was an all-day event, and thankfully Spiderman was
in a good enough mood to play in his room for the most part. Usually, we are being assaulted with toy
after toy being thrown in our direction; however, with Spiderman preoccupied,
we only had to fight the battle with one enemy- Mr. B! Unfortunately, Mr. B always wants to “help”
clean. While this may sound like we have
an ally in cleaning, that thought is wrong! First off, he always trips over the cord while
“helping” vacuum which also means unplugging it, or he is shoving things into
the hole in the back that do not belong there.
Of course, we just fight the good fight to continue our never-ending
task. Letting him “help” so that the
enemy remains happy is our only option, but once it is time to put the vacuum
up it is nearly impossible to get it away from him. You can see how heartbroken he is to part
with the vacuum, and yes, we do the cleaning with a shop vac because it’s just
necessary at our house!
Although, I must say the house is looking amazing! But
why do we even try to keep it clean?
Would you believe that 20 minutes after the house was COMPLETELY
spotless some little gold fish eating 3 year old crunched up the entire bag all
over the ottoman and living room?
